Description

Part three of the races that exist in Yggdrasil, in all of its twelve kingdoms, which will be described later. Part Two here >>[link]<< Here they are:

*Nidavellir's Heya Dwarf: Descendants of Lady Austri, The Moor, born from the Gold, the Heya Dwarves differ from others by their brownish skin tone, similar to the humans that originates from the African continent on Earth - the "Centre of Midgard" - and their black, curly or frizzy hair, and their usually dark eyes. Even the miscegenation between the clans of dwarves be very large, there are still few communities formed by pure Heya or with little mixture. Of course, those who are descended from Heya has somewhat more athletic constitution than the other dwarves, both in males and in females, being faster and stronger than the other, and more resistant to diseases and pests. For being raised from gold, the Heya are the greatest jewelers of all the Great Tree, and the ones who forged the necklace Brisingamen, belonging to Freyja, Asgardian of Love and Beauty, and Great Lady of the Valkyries. The Blacksmith Volund, almost a mixture of Midas and Hephaestus to his people, descend from Heya father and Güllet mother.

* Nidavellir's Grätt Dwarf: Descendants of Lord Nordhri, The Grey, born from the Silver, the Grätt Dwarves are very peculiar, considering their gray or white wigs and beards from a young age, a trait that often pass for crossbred with other clans. Like everyone in all four Dwarven clans, still there are few pure Grätt or with little mixing communities, being some of the larger cities in Nidavellir - as Shiruback and Argjendin - belonging to these strong constitution dwarves, also called Ice Dwarves, for live in the coldest region of the Great Tunnels - dug by the Four Blacksmiths in the Beginning of Time - even venturing into the mountains of the surface. Great artisans, GRATT are known for their trade, and the most remote communities had contact with Trolls long before the Battle Against Hoenir, the Goblin Warlock, leader of the Pontydd citadel. The legendary Brokk, who along with his helper Eitri forged the Hammer of Thor, - Mjölnir - belonged to this clan.

* Nidavellir's Rød Dwarf: Descendants of Sudhr, The Red, born from the Bronze, the Rød Dwarves are by far the most common of the four clans, and their thick touched by fire hair and beard mark the heads of many members of the various communities and cities. The Great Dwarven Capital, known as The Great Forge was built by Rød. Remember that pure clan communities are very rare, but exist, being the largest producers of beer and other cereal products across the Great Tree, and Rød farmers enjoy all the land touched by two suns blue Nidavellir. By far the greatest blacksmiths of all Yggdrasil, the Rød and their crossbreeds are also better prepared for battle dwarves, wearing heavy armor and carrying weapons such as axes, flails and hammers, typical dwarven weapons. From this clan came Sindri, the Lady Regent of the Great Forge and a powerful priestess, and the twins Andvari and Alvis, who helped in the fight against Hoenir's goblins.

* Nidavellir's Güllet Dwarf: Descendants of Vestri, the Blonde, born from Platinum, the Güllet Dwarves are considered by many the most beautiful kind, because of their beards and manes golden like the Sun than the Earth surrounds in Midgard. A little more peaceful than the other clans, the rare pure Güllet communities tend to be traders of various products, vying for the market with the Great Troll Market - similar to Arabian markets from Earth - and the least engage in battles or social causes, living the philosophy of "Enjoy life to the full." Güllet women are very desired by all clans, due to the sculptural shapes of their bodies. Men however, are not so much. Dwarven ladies are interested in brave warriors, and rarely by nobles artists like them - they usually become a bit overweight, for they enjoy life too much. Nevertheless, they are good natured, and respect the Dwarven Code of Conduct who cherishes Hospitality, Courage and Independence. Eitri, Brokk's assistant, descended from Güllet.

* Jotunheim's Dhonn Bären: Of brown hair, from raw brown through russet and cinnamon, until the dark sepia, the Dhonn Bären are known for their large communities built in forests with large clearings or vast meadows, where they grow their food or hunt with their arrows and swords, or even with their powerful claws and large and sharp teeth. The Dhonn are known in Jotunheim as "Brown Druids", being closely linked to ethereal spells, slightly dominated by other creatures of the Kingdom of the Giants. With a culture very similar to the Midgard's - more specifically on Earth - Irish Celts, this Bären clan is very attached to a own code of conduct, in which the cowardly murder of wars is extremely frowned upon by society, as well as disrespect for equal and others people. Martorix the monk Bären representative of the Allied Council - or Twenty-Three Swords Council - has Dhonn father - the Great Gondemarix, leader of the Circle of Bären Druids, Mages and Shamans, or Circle of the Claw.

* Jotunheim's Liath Bären: Of grey hair, from light to almost black, the Liath Bären live on the east and west coats of the Great Land, and divide the west with the Risar (Stone Giants), great allies in the trade. However, the other clans see the said merchants as "complete scoundrels" both males and females, as they believe that the sea can transform the people's character. Although many are even scoundrels - Horkorix as the main representative of the clan - and even ruthless pirates, this Bären clan members are mostly good natured, but are not as virtuous as the Dhonn, not really sticking to codes of conduct. The Risar much appreciate the Liath, especially their culture - somewhat similar to that of the Phoenicians and Slavs - and their beer - made with black wheat, native of Jotunheim. The Liath are also very skilled with the sword and melee fights, making them strong contenders.

* Jotunheim's Denahi Bären: Of bit thick black hair, the Denahi Bären are great spearmen and hunters, living in large villages built in clearings and open meadows, usually near the Great Rivers. Inhabiting the central part of the Great Land amongst the Dhonn, this Bären are skilled shamans, natural born knowers of telluric magic. Like most Bären, they are good-natured, with rare exceptions. Connoisseurs of the land they inhabit, are among the oldest clans, that may have existed before the Great Blizzard cease and compel the Jotun (Frost Giants) to migrate to Niflheim, where ice and cold are eternal. Linked to strong virtues of brotherhood, honor and friendship, the Denahi are less rigid than Dhonn but not "sloppy" as Liath. Their shamanic culture resembles that of the natives who lived in abundance in the Earth's North American land, in Midgard.

* Jotunheim's Sadhu Bären: Of short black hair, the Sadhu Bären are the inhabitants of the great forests, protected or not by Trädet - the Tree Folk - being natural pacifists. Condemning war and violence, use their peaceful resistance as a shield against attacks, almost emanating their chakras through meditation in the form of powerful spiritual monks. Believers of reincarnation and the powers of the spirit and the mind over the body, the Sadhu usually inhabit monasteries fantastically built of stone inside the forests, as the Mathahí Temple, built in the Great Rítheä Forest protected by the oldest Trädets of all Jotunheim. These Bären, amongst to the Denahi, are some of the oldest clans, leading to believe that the Great Ancestors, praised by clans, overall had black fur. Martorix, de Son of Gondemarix, was raised as a monk in the Mathahí Temple by the Sadhu Elders after reach the maturity.

* Jotunheim's Nörrut Bären: Of thick white hair, the Nörrut Bären are the largest and most robust of the clans, due to the cold climate of the Tundras regions in the extreme north and south of the Great Land. Great warriors and extremely skilled with axes, swords, spears and hammers, these polar Bären tend to be slightly impatient and aggressive, and intimidating due to their large size. Also inhabit the Eastern Mountains, where food is very scarcer. Great diplomats, are usually members of this clan that begin and end the talks between the Bären leaders of The Bronze Bear Council. Hindla, Martorix's mother, was a tough Nörrut warrior, very beautiful, but also very angry and feared.
