Description

Part nine of the races that exist in Yggdrasil, in all of its twelve kingdoms, which will be described later. Part eight here >> diamondheadman.deviantart.com/… << Here they are:

*Upper Immortal Plan's Angel (Elysian): Mighty warriors, the Angels or Elysians are the main defense force of the Upper Immortal Paln - Where the Pantheons and two of the Big Three Brothers, in case God and Irmin, reside - born of the spirits of the inhabitants of Midgard - humans, ogres, ixionids and others - who left the mortal life, either by natural death, in battle or by choice, that if judged by Varuna the Just as worthy souls - not necessarily pure and chaste - to merit eternal rest in the Elysian Fields. No matter from which creature comes the spirit, they will always be embodied in beautiful and athletic humanoid forms or in the form in which the individual feel more comfortable, there angels of bodily forms as varied as humans, but always with bright eyes of various colors and a halo over their heads.
There are basically two kinds of Elysians: Those who prefer eternal rest, without becoming directly involved in the issues of war between Order and Chaos, and those who choose to serve the Heavenly Army, wielding weapons to fight in favor of the Order. These warriors angels receive wings on their backs, and may be from similar to sparrows and seagulls wing until those dragons and griffins, and are divided into three castes: the Ophans, which would be the lowest, similar to recruits caste; the Cherubs, that would be the bulk of the Heavenly Army, armed for battle and with more advanced training; and Seraphs, the highest caste, which is included an elite group known as the Sentinels, specialized in extreme-risk missions. The Seven Archangels are also taken as Seraphs, but can be placed apart from the other angels for their very unique characteristics. Among the main abilities of Elysians is the heal touch, being able to regenerate themselves from injuries, as well as their fellow combat.

*Asgard's Einherjar: Similar to the Elysians, the Einherjar are humanoid forms
inhabited by spirits worthy of eternal rest, but there are not many humans, but the other races from Yggdrasill - the obvious exception are the Helheim's Draugr, which are also bodies inhabited by spirits - ranging from the smallest of the Grüntilgard's Clurichauns to the tallest of the Jötunheim's Risar, isince they died with honor - preferably in battles, being wars, combat or even personal struggles against a devastating sick for example - and have served the Order during their mortal lives. With comparable strength and power of the the mightiest Seraphs - the exception of the Archangels - the Einherjar are the elite force protecting the Kingdom of Life, Asgard, and also its principal inhabitants, joining several different cultures from all corners of the Great Tree in through the Golden City. To become Einherjar, the spirits are collected by the Valkyries that govern each of the Twelve Kingdoms and taken to Asgard where they are divided between the Asgardians Odin and Freyja. Half of them goes to the castle Valhalla, where they are greeted by the All-Father and the other half, with all women, go to Fólkvangr to be received and trained by the Mother of the Valkyries. In both castles there are large golden halls, where the Einherjar bask in banquet washed down with mead, beer and wine for after spending the day fighting at arenas until "they die", returning to their lodgings at end of day and repeat it all the next day . Due to its heritage of all races, the Einherjar are skilled with all kinds of weapons and use shamanic magic like anyone. During Ragnarök, the warriors of Asgard form the bulk of the Forces of Order's army, serving the Three Brothers and the Pantheons, giving their lives to protect Asgard and Yggdrasill from the Forces of Chaos.

*Midgard's Si'Tahron: Created from fire and cosmic plasma, the Si'Tahrons are the oldest creatures of Midgard, hand molded by God, the Creator of Life and Great Shaman of Yggdrasill, which sought to develop extremely powerful beings and naturally benevolent, that protect the greatest sources of power in the Universe: the Stars - including supermassive black holes and magnetars, that once were stars - and Quasars. Entrusted with this task by the Creator, the Si'Tahrons are always found in centuries, similarly to Freyja's Valkyries, surrounding the large hatchers known as nebulae, created by Irmin in the beginning of time, when also emerged the Four Elders: Horyusk, The Mighty, Protector of the Eagle Nebula; Lyse, the Defender, frist female and protector of the Swan Nebula; Ghael, The Observer, Protector of the Carina Nebula; e Astéron, the Immaculate, Protector of the Horsehead Nebula. In physical terms, the Si'Tahrons are basically small stars - compared to others - shining in the powerful field of spherical semi-transparent plasma, boasting one to three pairs of glowing eyes and a pair of strong arms formed by metals and gas in liquid state, covered similar to magma hardened solid plates. Can change the size of their bodies - ranging from three meters in diameter to the size of Earth - the Si'Tharons are extremely penetrated to their divine task, having complete understanding of the potential of their abilities, something no other living being has notion . Some believe that they are in line beyond the ordinary living beings and even of the Immortals, and something that should not even be understood.

*Underworld's Tryapka: Emotional creatures, the Tryapkas are constructs - living creatures made from inanimate objects. Golems are the more common constructs - created in similar way to the Mary Shelley's
Frankenstein monster, joining parts of different corpses in a single being, always seeking a female form. Such creations acquire the breath of life through black magic or abyssal or even imprisoning a tormented spirit within the patched body and using the common magic. Varying in size according to the number and/or size of collected bodies, Tryapkas are extremely loyal to their constructor, usually a warlock or witch or even a powerful shaman capable of raising the dead, doing everything to protect them with a incredible strength and agility. None of these "dolls" is equal to another, but all have bright eyes that seems to penetrate the soul and a very heavy aura, depressing many who approach them, being also extremely sentimental, becoming hurt very easily. One of the biggest examples of this is Amy, the Tryapka given by Lucifer to his youngest daughter, Lillith, when she was little and used to play alone. The doll and the girl were extremely united, going anywhere and doing everything together until Lillith grew and became interested in other things rahter than her doll. Amy was extremely devastated, gaining attention of the Fear Lord, which made it one of his Gatekeepers - the most challenging of all - and gave her golden blades scattered throughout her body - which earned her the nickname "Fairy of Blades". The Tryapkas do not form an organized society, always living with their masters or lonely, especially in the Underworld, where they feel more comfortable due to the sober, sad and heavy atmosphere that certain islands of the Styx and Acheron rivers carry along the dense fog. Some have also been sighted in Helheim.

*Underworld's Satyr:
Owners unmatched strength and durability, the Satyrs are the second line of the front of the armies of Lucifer, having emerged from the souls of Fauns - benevolent creatures that serve the Olympians - who fell into the graces of Chaos, transforming them from innocent men-goat hideous beasts of forests into, with up to 2.60 meters tall, sharp teeth, brown or black fur and curved and shining horns, encrusted in hard as steel skulls, as well as their metal hulls. Living on islands scattered across the Styx, the satyrs are organized into family clans, always headed by an old warrior who also acts as a local healer, connoisseur of obscure shamanic magic, being rare the good relations between these clans, that conflict constantly. Only three clans - the Charmar, skilled with hammers and maces; the Hunliar, excellent spearmen and archers; and Krusckar, great in ax combat - swore allegiance to Lucifer, establishing a truce, even troubled, between them. One of the most famous satyr is Baphomet, the first of four Gatekeepers, know as "the Master of Riddles", defying those who wish to enter Lucifer's fortress with riiddlwa said in indecipherable languages. The Bruniar clan, formed entirely by albino red-eyed satyrs, is one of the most feared, and servers assumed of the sons of Marfach (Baal and Asmodeus).

*Underwolrd's Qarinah (Succubus/Incubbus): Extremely cunning creatures, the Qarinah are the equivalent of the Lower Immortal Plan to Elysians, being also the main line of defense of the army of Lucifer. Such creatures are the closest in appearance to Humans, and also the Fear Lord, having semi-squamous skins of warm shades - ranging from light gray to dark red - black shiny eyes, horns coming out of their foreheads, dragon wings, arrowhead tails and legs of a goat, building the classic image of the demon that many fear. The Qarinah, as the Angels, always have beautiful features, but more provocative and attractive and sculptural bodies, something they use in their hunts by lust and death. Sneaking by the Earth since ancient times, these demons disguise themselves as very pretty humans, creating lies to attract their prey like pigs for the slaughter, seducing them and then feeding on their flesh and blood. Incubbus - males - tend to be more aggressive in the investee, while the Succubus - females - tend to be more gentle, pretending to be holy and innocent and taking advantage of the protective instincts of men. Even though always seek lust as bait to the prey, the Qarinah have healing abilities, and a kiss on the lips or even the most intimate caresses of one of these beings can heal any and all injury, since it is the will of one of these . Scattered throughout the Underworld, the Qarinah are the most common breed in the Lower Immortal Plan, but have no caste or a ordered society, and may or may not be of the souls of those who were sent into Hell by the judgment of Varuna. The most famous members of the race are the Sons of Lucifer: Anfricor, Incubbus of Wrath; Agrat, Sucubbus of Lust, Caim, Incubbus of Greed, e Lillith, Sucubbus of Sloth. During Ragnarök, the Qarinah will join the Angels and Einherjar to defend the Order, since Lucifer prefers to join their brethren than his worst enemy (Amodeus).

*Underwold's Faedh: Extremely intelligent, the Faedh are grotesque beings, half man and half boar, covered with rough hair, bright eyes, bony spines jumping from their backbones and incredibly athletic body. Such creatures are considered the first inhabitants of the Underworld - even before the Bune or Qarinah -, they established organized villages in the Acheron islands, led by bloodthirsty warlords who command armies of astute warriors and warlocks. Being among the best blacksmiths among the races of Yggdrasill, the Faedh were already sighted in Mortal Plan since the Middle Ages in the British Isles and North America, terrorizing villages and towns with extreme ferocity and thirst for human blood. The villages in the Underworld, however, were almost completely decimated by hordes of Bune and Satyrs, and the few remaining Faedh are now allied to Lucifer. One of them is Mammon, a brilliant strategist transformed into a hideous beast with overwhelming urge to kill by Alistair, the scourge of Lucifer.

*Underwolrd's Hobgoblin: Owners of sharp minds, the Hobgoblins emerged from Nidavellir's Goblins coming with the Manheim - great migration among the twelve kingdoms of the Great Tree - for Midgard, seeking a refuge from dwarven and troll forces of which were openly enemies. Taking refuge in underground caverns, these runaway goblins were transformed due to contact with the Abyssal magic that transformed them from extremely intelligent greenish skin and bat-like warlords, armed to the teeth with advanced technology, to grotesque troublemakers, with skinny bodies and bony limbs, huge head and ears and wide jaws, armed with crooked
and sharp as knives teeth. Leaving aside their military heritage, the Hobgoblins spread across the  Underworld as nomadic troublemakers, traveling in caravans in search of damned souls who fall into their tricks, often involving luck. The Hobgolbin Belphegor oozes such heritage, being the last Gatekeeper of Hell, stealing years of life of foreigners in a game of dice.

*Underwolrd's Bune: The best blacksmiths in the Underworld, the Bune are also known as Abyssal Ogres because of their great similarities with the corpulent primates of Midgard's Mortal Plan. With about three meters tall and weighing up to 1 ton, these gray-skinned beings are the only demons that have a truly organized society in a kingdom of their own, always ruled by the one who shows itsdelf as the strongest and most able of all, winning its opponents in an arena fighting to the death, and then expose their disembodied heads on the outside of the complex system of caves dark and warm they call home. Aggressive and indifferent in temper, these creatures seem to be immune to pain, showing as the staunchest opponents in the Underworld, skilled in black magic and heavy weapons like double axes, hammers and flails. The Bune Orobas is one of the servants of Lucifer corrupted by the scourge Alistair, seeking eternal vengeance of the Archangel Michael for the death of his wife - Phenex, one of the Nine Barons of Hell and deceased Supreme Lady
of the Bune Kingdom.
